The IWBC, in partnership with the Friends of Beyer Stadium, presents a series of fun, family-friendly events (May 30-June 3) to celebrate the Rockford Peaches’ 75th Anniversary and the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL).
On Wednesday, May 30, stars from "A League of Their Own" will join entertainers and actors in a 1940s Rockford Peaches baseball game-themed evening of family fun at Coronado Performing Arts Center. On Thursday, May 31, get an autograph from and hang out with Rockford Peaches and actors from the movie "A League of Their Own" and purchase memorabilia and keepsake gifts at the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau's office. Friday, June 1 events include Rockford Peaches Day at Rockford City Market and a showing of the movie "A League of Their Own." Stars from the movie will greet moviegoers and sign autographs before the showing of this iconic American baseball movie. Saturday, June 2, is Family Day at Beyer Stadium and includes an opening ceremony and exhibition baseball game. A home run derby and a closing ceremony will be at Beyer Stadium on Sunday, June 3.
